On the 21st of January 2019, Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) hosted the kick-off meeting for the project titled “Innovative biomedical engineering and computational science to improve the management of critical illness in resource-limited settings”. This is a unique multidisciplinary project, funded by the Wellcome Trust as part of its Innovations for Impact strategy, aims to improve the critical care in low middle income countries. All participating parties in the project were present at OUCRU to provide an overview of the project and its work packages, to share their ideas and visions on the project.
